Daring Like Daniel Workshop (8-part Series) —by Mark Manfredine

This workshop (for which we are making an accompanying workbook/handout booklet) will involve studies from the life of Daniel. We will explore how Daniel and his friends thrived in Babylon, discovering actionable strategies for Endtime Believers to build courage, stand against cultural challenges, and develop habits of prayer. Believers facing the cultural challenges of today will connect to the ancient wisdom of Daniel and learn that the power to make a difference is found in the commitment to be different, to the glory of Yahweh. The workbook for this workshop will be printed and provided, as a hand-out, for those who join us in person for this retreat. For those who will be joining us online, the workbook (as a pdf file) will be available/printable from our website.

Sukkot in the Sky Workshop (9-part Series) —by Shauna Manfredine

The full, Hebrew name for the Feast of Tabernacles is Chag haSukkot Asif, which means the Feast of Booths (or Tabernacles) (&) Ingathering (a reference to the final Harvest). While all these terms do not appear in a single verse, we do find all of these terms for Tabernacles in Scripture. The Biblical, Hebrew names for something bear a tremendous amount of information—in fact the name contains a powerful prophetic picture, which defines the item, or event, being named. For example, consider the revelations of Yahweh found in the meaning of His Name. Similarly, there are revelations of meaning regarding Sukkot to be found in the 9 Hebrew letters, found in the full name of this Fall Feast.

In this workshop, we will examine the meaning in these 9 letters in the context of the constellations of which they serve as asterisms. Using the Mazzaroth and protoCanaanite Hebrew letters, rich meanings in the Father’s Message and Purpose for Sukkot will come to light, deepening the blessing of our Feast-keeping experience. There will be a workbook for this workshop as well, provided as explained for the previous workshop.
